Praise: Unleashing the Power of a  Locomotive

Praise: Unleashing the Power of a  Locomotive

Today, the Lord brought this journal entry from Saturday, November 4th 2006 to my attention.

Father! What a powerful night vision You gave me!  It involved prayer, faith and another ingredient.  Please give me the understanding to write it down.

In the vision, my husband, and two other men were praising You with all their hearts and all their souls and all their minds.  And to the observer, there was little to praise You about.  They could not see anything that they were praising You for because it had not yet been made manifest in the physical realm.  But these three men “saw” it with their hearts.  They knew by Faith that it was already done and all they had to do was to pray it into the physical.  It seemed ludicrous to the observer.  They seemed like fools for the joy they had was seemingly not founded on anything “real” But I saw that as they began to Praise YOU, it was like a powerful locomotive came bursting into the fabric of the physical, bringing into sight, the precise thing they were praying and praising You for.

I remember trying to relate what I understood with something powerful, and I understood it in three ways.

Their Praise was the result of their Prayer of Faith.  Their Prayer of Faith was like a giant power cord.  It was like a stick of dynamite or a locomotive.  All the potential for the power was there.  All these things, if put to the proper use release a tremendous amount of energy or force.  Their prayer was as these things.

Secondly, when they began to Praise with all their heart, and minds and souls for what the Lord had done: for hearing, and answering their prayers, the power cord was plugged in, the locomotive burst through and the dynamite exploded!  The end result of all was the actual physical manifestation of their Prayer of Faith!

A big part of the power came from the unwavering Faith in what they sought.  They did not become discouraged, even when they did not see with their eyes what they sought, for they KNEW their LORD heard them and would answer them.  The more they should or could have been discouraged, that is the moment when they had the most power, for they would not relent, they did not doubt and they began to Praise!  THAT is what brought forth the break through.

“Now FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”

Hebrews 11: 1  Amplified  Bible

“And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him:[we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan).  He listens to and hears us.

And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.”

1 John 5: 14,15  -Amplified Bible
