“Saturate my soul…Let the river flow…
Let the North Wind blow over my soul!”
These are the words to the song that went through my mind just before I got up but after I began to awake.
I found out yesterday that my Dad is suffering again from a bout of pneumonia… Arkansas is under a blanket of snow and the power has been out since Monday and they don’t expect power till the middle of next week. They are keeping warm with the use of their wood burning stove but the wood is running low. Because of the lack of electricity, there is no way to contact anyone… the cell phones work if you can charge them and if there is service… but he needs a nebulizer for his lungs and there is no energy for that. My dad also had pneumonia in the fall, and this is so close…
I went to bed last night asking for his(my dad’s) healing and reminding myself how our Savior had already brought Himself as a perfect offering and sacrifice for the infirmities and sins of my father. He, my father, is sprinkled with the perfect blood of the Lamb of God and he is whole because of that offering. I claimed it. And I just began to praise my Lord and Father and my Beloved…. I am so grateful! I am so happy and thrilled that we can come and claim healing that is there based on the finished work and sacrifice of our Lord!
I fell asleep and dreamt about sacrifice. It seems I saw a woman who was like Lana Lange to Superman: Treasured and precious to him. But I only know I saw a beautiful and obedient, loving woman. She was surrounded by so many suffering… so many people in darkness and ignorance and pain from diseases of the mind soul and body. She went forth with her offering. It was the same offering for all things… No matter what the petition was, the offering she brought before the Lord was the same.
Her offering was in bringing forth the finished work of the Lord… His flayed flesh and poured-out blood, with absolute confidence in the power of this offering; Knowing the offering and sacrifice is already made. The healing already won.
The victory is so often obscured by the ignorance of its (the Blood of the Lamb) power beyond reason. All she has to bring of herself is the sacrifice of praise for the goodness and mercy of the One who sacrificed for her and all she loved. She brings forth her offerings of power to the Throne of her own loving Father. This is the Sacrifice He has commanded to be brought before Him. A perfect offering and a perfect sacrifice of blood from a perfect Lamb…His own Lamb of God.
She breaks forth in song and praise and joyful worship as the sacrifice, once made by the King and High Priest Himself, is forever powerful. It, (the sacrifice of the Lamb, by theFATHER) never loses its power to save, deliver, set free and make whole. It cannot be used up! It is always there. Our High Priest, after the order of Melchizedek is Jesus, the Redeemer and Son of the Most High God Himself, who ALWAYS lives to make intercession; With His own blood and sacrifice for us! For He is the intercession itself! The BLOOD is the Medium of the Intercession! IT IS THE PORTAL!
Oh My Lord Jesus! How wonderful You are! How majestic! Thank You for shedding illumination on this mystery for me this past week. I am seeing something that I had not before. These words are sooo powerful and they have laid hidden for so long in my Bibles… I have not known how to really use them because I could not grasp what they really were still speaking! A better testimony than the blood of Able!
Able was slain by his brother… Jesus was slain, willingly as the blood of offering for my sins and healing and for the entire world, and all those I petition to Him on their behalf. Oh Thank You Lord Jesus! Thank you my Beloved. Thank You Father!!
